Art, music, video games… and dogs. That’ll do me! 👍

Howyez, 👋

I’m Dave. I’ve spent my career in graphic design – 30 years of designing ‘10% OFF’ vouchers, flyers for cake sales, insomnia-curing corporate reports, eye-crusting infographics and even spending entire afternoons re-sizing the same newspaper ads ad nauseam. Yes, it’s all glamour in this game! But my most important project began with my own Border Collie X, Sam. One More Day is where my professional eye for detail meets my personal understanding of what it means to lose a best friend.

My connection to dogs goes as far back as I can remember. I’ve always shared my life with a dog, especially Border Collie mixes – they’ve been my constant companions through the years, teaching me about loyalty, focus, and the quiet joy they bring to every day.

When I’m not at my desk working on tributes, you’ll likely find me with a guitar in my hands. I’m a musician at heart and have played in a band called Celtic Legacy for years. We’re still out there playing – no world tours on the horizon, but if you’re ever in the mood for a bit of old-school metal, I’m always happy to point you to our albums. And when the house is quiet, I’m usually unwinding with a video game. It’s a simple life, but one filled with the things I’m most passionate about.

Whether I’m composing a riff or composing a tribute, I believe in the importance of detail. That’s what I bring to One More Day: a professional designer’s eye for composition, the patience of a musician, and the heart of a dog lover who knows exactly how hard it is to say goodbye.

I don't believe in automated, "one-click" memorial products. I believe in taking the time to get it right. Your companion deserves that same level of care.
